The Blue Lagoon Express is operated on a daily schedule from Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon and back to Reykjavik or to Keflavik Airport for passengers departing Iceland. Pick-up from Snorri´s guesthouse 30 minutes before departure.

Northern Lights Tour - RE-62
The Northern Lights, also known as the
Aurora Borealis are a spectacular natural phenomenon, often seen dancing around in fantastic colours across the Icelandic Arctic sky. The Northern lights are caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole. That creates this wonderful light effect, known as the Aurora Borealis. The locations visited are different every tour since we go where it’s most likely to see the Northern Lights each day. This tour is dependant on weather and sightings are not guaranteed. Iceland’s South Shore is a lowland region of lush farmland, striking waterfalls, sandy black coastline, glaciers and charming towns and villages.
This tour is ideal for nature lovers of all kinds. An opportunity to stand behind the plummeting Seljalandsfoss waterfall, walk up to the Skógafoss waterfall and gaze at Reynisdrangar rock formations. We will stop at the village Vík, which is surrounded by beautiful and impressive high bird cliffs and unique black sand shores.

Saga Circle - RE-08
The Icelandic Sagas are renowned throughout the world. This Saga Tour takes you to the settings of the most famous events in Icelandic history where we follow in the footsteps of the Viking warrior and poet Egill Skallagrimsson and others in Borgarfjordur.We visit the Icelandic Settlement centre exhibition in Borgarnes.
From there we head to Reykholt, the home of Snorri Sturluson the most significant Nordic poet and historian of the Middle Ages, and Snorrastofa. Glacier Snowmobile Adventure - RE-80
Do not leave Iceland without experiencing a real glacier! Take a ride to the top of the world at Mýrdalsjökull glacier. Drive a snowmobile for a full hour through the white wasteland surrounded by magnificent views of glacier ice and extraordinary nature. Being on top of a glacier is a thrilling experience, surrounded with ice and white snow as far as the eye can see and the most magnificent scenery.
Both geographical knowledge and expert guidance can be expected as a standard during this glacier tour. All necessary equipment will be provided and is included. Gullfoss- Geysir and Langjökull
Snowmobiling-RE-44
We stop at Þingvellir national park which is known for it’s exceptional beauty and historical importance. Onwards we head to the world-renowned geothermal area around Geysir hot spring where you discover spouting springs of various formations and appearances. From there we continue to Gullfoss, the queen of Icelandic waterfalls.

Next we kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland’s nature and go for a snowmobiling tour on Langjökul (or Langjökull area), Iceland’s second largest glacier - an exhilarating one-hour tour across the endless white snowfields will not leave you intact.
Please note: Choices of roads and availability of activities are condition dependent. For snowmobiling tours drivers need to present a valid driver’s license. 2 persons share each snowmobile. Lunch and refreshments are not included in the prices and please note that operation period is dependent on snow layers.

Super Jeep and Cave Exploring
Next we drive through the barren mountain pass of Kaldidalur (the Cold Valley) to Langjökull glacier where we will strap on some crampons (summer only) for an easy glacier walk under professional supervision, of course.

In winter, we deflate our monster size tires and take our super jeeps for a ride on the glacier. From Langjökull glacier, we continue to Hallmundarhraun, a lava area where Surtshellir, one of Iceland's biggest and most spectacular lava caves is to be found.
After caving, we will continue down the Borgarfjördur valley and visit the waterfalls of Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. Then, we pass the historic site of Reykholt and have a look at Europe's largest hot spring before returning to Reykjavik via the Hvalfjördur fjord. In winter and spring we might have to alter the itinerary due to road conditions.

Take a walk on the Ice Side - RE- 81
We take an easy walk on crampons up on to the ice field where a wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges and deep crevasses awaits discovery. We will provide and teach you how to use basic glacier equipment. Ice climbing is not included in this tour.
Remember to bring warm clothing and rain gear. Minimum age is 10 years. Lunch and refreshments not included. On the way back there’s a stop at the striking waterfalls, Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss.

Diving in Silfra
A day of diving in Silfra, Iceland, a memory you will want to take home!
The tour begins when we will pick you up from Snorri´s guesthouse in the Reykjavik area and drive about 45 minutes to Thingvellir National Park
Your guide will point out interesting facts about the history and geology of the park. We will stop at certain spots on the way to show you some stunning views over the National Park.
Usually we pick our divers up at around 8am and they’ll be back in Reykjavik at around 4pm. In the winter time this schedule will be delayed by one hour to make the most of the day light.

When we arrive at the dive site we will gear up, walk to the platform, where your divemaster will give you a briefing on the first dive. We’ll take a few steps down the ladder and make contact to the worlds clearest water to dive in. Take a sip!
The slight current formed by the underground wells will make our dive out the crack an easy one. Your divemaster will lead the dive and take photos. If you are interested you can purchase a CD of the high resolution photos after the tour.
After this dive we’ll take about an hour break and have some hot coffee and cookies.
The second dive will lead us into the Silfra Lagoon and eventually the little crack, depending on divers skills and gusto.
Prerequisites: Scuba dive certification (PADI Open Water or comparable) Duration: 8 hours Please bring: Long underwear and thick socks. Included: Free hotel pick up and return, guide, 2 guided dives, all necessary equipment, light snacks in the dive break.

You don't need to be a certified diver in order to experience water at its clearest.
We offer Snorkeling Trips to SilfraAll details about Silfra crack... where you will swim between the continents and take a good look at the crack beneath the surface.
Snorkelling is for everybody and it's a fantastic experience for the whole family.
We will provide you with a dry suit that will keep you warm and comfortable as well as other necessary equipment.
Snorkeler in Silfra © DIVE.IS You will be guided both over and under the surface by one of our PADI Divemasters or Diving InstructorsGet to know our people..., who will guide the trip in their dive gear. This gives a very good view for the snorkeler on the surface, since the diver in the middle of the clarity brings everything into perspective.
Make sure to drink some of the water on your trip. Who knows when you will be able to drink some that is as pure.

In order to make a trip happen there need to be at least one snorkeler or one diver with you on the trip.

Thorsmork Nature Reserve - RE-14
Thorsmork is a beautiful nature reserve situated between three glaciers, Mýrdalsjökull, Eyjafjallajökull and Tindfjallajökull. To get there you must pass rough mountain tracks and cross un-bridged glacial rivers. In Þórsmörk you can choose among a variety of hiking routes with breathtaking views and a unique nature experience.
The newest addition is Thorslaug hot pool so remember to bring your swimwear! Lunch and refreshments are not included but light refreshments are available in the restaurant lounge in Husadalur.
Thorsmork is truly a magical place to visit and a “must” during your stay in Iceland!

Wonders at Sea with Cruise - RE-16
Sail on Breidafjordur bay in a unique landscape between a thousand small islands. The bay holds a fantastic variety of bird life, including puffins, cormorants, the white tailed eagle, kittiwakes, eider ducks and more.

The Wonders of Snæfellsjökull - RE-17
The Snæfellsjökull glacier (1446m) is renowned for its mystical powers and has captured the imagination of people all over the world, ever since Jules Verne wrote “The Journey to the Centre of the Earth” .
A short walk will be made from the huge stone structure called Bárður Snæfellsás, who was a shaman/viking who sensed the energy of the glacier. We continue to the beautiful beach at Djúpalónssandur, where we take a short walk. On the way we pass Gatklettur, an interestingly shaped cliff.

Landmannalaugar & Saga Valley - RE-92
Þjórsárdalur Valley, a place of stunningly colorful and diverse landscape, is one of Iceland’s most popular destinations. Mt. Hekla, Iceland's best known volcano is clearly visible in the Þjórsárdalur valley.
Landmannalaugar is a natural gem, hidden in the highlands of Iceland and offers some of the most surprising and memorable experiences. Take a hike in the most breathtaking scenery in Iceland and afterwards take a bath in the lukewarm hot spring stream. One of the best characteristics of this area, are the Rhyolite Mountains, with their multi-colored shapes and sizes.

EL-01 Whale Watching and Puffin Island
Whale watching tours operate all year long from the beginning of April through to the end of October we have tours every day but from November through March we have tours on weekends (winter whale watching). During the high season we also offer midnight whale watching at evenings at 20:30
The whales most frequently seen on tours with Elding are the Minke whales, Humpback whales, Dolphins and Porpoises other speces are sometimes spotted. We leave from the Old Harbour of Reykjavik (pier Ægisgarður), which is located in Ægisgarður.
We offer a coach pick-up service from hotels in the Reykjavik area 20 to 40 minutes before departure. During the summer the boats leave at 09:00, 13:00 and 17:00 and we have additional tours at 10:00 and 14:00 during the high season. Our tours are about 3 hours at sea. Ask your hotel for details – they will be happy to book you on our boat.
For your comfort and warmth, we have special suits on board we can lend you, but we do advise you to wear your warmest clothes - hats, scarves, gloves etc – as it can get very cold, even on the warmest of days. We also offer hot drinks and light refreshments on our on-board café. Alternatively, you can sit inside the boat in the warmth, where you can watch the whales outside from large windows.
We have excellent guides to tell you about your trip and describe what you can see and where to look, together with an introduction and safety guide.
We tell you about the seabirds and nature in the Faxofloi bay. How much we see depends on the sea conditions and season, but our qualified guides are
happy to try to answer all your questions.
Depending on the tide and sea we start or end the trip by going to either Akurey or Lundey to watch the puffins (May 15.-Aug 15.) No two whale
watching trips are the same, we need to be flexible and organize your trip taking sea conditions, weather and seasons into account. We rarely have to
go further than 15 nautical miles from the harbour.

EL-04 Sea Angling
Sea angling tours are scheduled from Reykjavík harbor from early May to late September every day at 11:00, but can be booked at other times. Sea angling is a fantastic experience. The crystal clear air and the excitement of catching a fish in the happy company of first-timers and experienced fishermen makes this a must-do trip.
The most commonly caught fish on our tours are cod, haddock, pollock and catfish. If you are lucky, you might even catch a giant halibut! We provide all the equipment needed for fishing and assistance by experienced guides. First-class tours for individuals and groups of all sizes.
Catch them if you can!
